We are seeking a Project Manager for our EU-funded research projects. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the project implementation and deadlines, interfacing with the project partners, and working in tandem with our team to guarantee the successful execution of the project.
More specifically, you will:
- Develop detailed project plans, align resources, and ensure timely delivery of all project results.
- Manage project execution, monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Interact with the project partners to gather project requirements or necessary inputs for own deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal teams — graphic designers and software developers — to align project objectives and ensure seamless execution.
- Maintain the project website and social media accounts to meet the target dissemination and communication KPIs.
- Manage project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and track expenses to optimize project outcomes.
- Write project deliverables and periodic reports
- Identify risks, implement proactive solutions, and troubleshoot issues to maintain project continuity.
- Attend all relevant (virtual and physical) project meetings. (Note: Physical meetings usually last 1-2 days and take place 2-3 times a year in one of the partners’ offices in the EU.)
- Stay updated with industry trends, implement best practices, and foster a culture of ongoing improvement in project delivery.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a Project Manager or similar role is preferred, demonstrating the ability to manage projects effectively.
- Data Driven to measure project performance, interpret data, and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills are essential.
- Fluent in spoken and (especially) written English.
Not mandatory, but still a plus:
- Interest in science and technology.
- Experience with EU-funded research projects.
- Experience with social media marketing.
What we offer:
- Work from your home 5 days a week.
- Competitive pay.
- Be part of a growing international team.
At Level 9, we believe that building teams that represent a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills is critical to our success and the success of our clients. We consider candidates based on hard and soft skills, experience and business needs.
